1970 Super Aquarama

In 1962 the Riva Aquarama was born. The name means 'view of the water'. These are the largest of all the wooden Riva range & are powered by twin v8 engines, the layout comprises of a large seating area  amidships with a cuddy under the forward deck and sun bathing area towards the stern.

LMV’s 1970 Super Aquarama, is the last Aquarama completed in 1970. Originally delivered to Monte Carlo and imported to Australia in the early 1980’s it is believed that this is the only Super Aquarama in Australia.

1963 Ariston

The Riva Ariston was produced between 1950-1973. Perhaps the prettiest of all the classic wooden Rivas, with its tapering aft deck and curvaceous hull design. The seating area comprises of a double row of seats with the option to clip a sunbathing cushion over the aft deck.

LMV’s 1963 Ariston was originally delivered to Switzerland where it remained until the late 1990’s when it was imported to the USA. The inspiration for LMV; she arrived in Australia in January 2020.
